About the event

Learning in a live Feng Shui consultation will transform your understanding of this ancient practice through all five senses. As Master RD analyzes the energy flow throughout the JMMTA's sacred spaces, you will witness firsthand how subtle adjustments to furniture placement, color schemes, and decorative elements can dramatically shift a room's harmony. These practical demonstrations will equip you with the expertise to identify and correct energy imbalances in your own living or working environment. The essence of his teachings delves into the ancient wisdom of "Qi or Chi" energy—that invisible life force flowing through every corner of your environment. Drawing on his  thirty years as an architect and interior designer,  he will guide students through transformative techniques that harmonize space: strategic furniture placement that invites prosperity, color selection that nurtures emotional balance, and the subtle art of decluttering pathways to allow energy to circulate freely throughout your home or office. Handouts from his acclaimed book, Feng Shui Revealed: An Aesthetic, Practical Approach to the Ancient Art of Space Alignment, will be included in your registration package, providing valuable reference materials long after the consultation concludes.

About the Speaker

RD Chin is a Feng Shui practitioner, author, teacher, and architect who worked with the late master architect Paul Rudolph from 1981 to 1996 on his many large-scale projects in Southeast Asia. He has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Tufts University and a Masters in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. Beginning in 1991, RD studied with many Feng Shui teachers from China, Europe, and the USA. For 35 years he has helped people redesign their life through their spaces. He combines contemporary Western design principles with the ancient art of Feng Shui to align any space with dimensions of spirit, character, and a feeling of balance. He personally co-creates with each client their own masterplan of their home or workspaces. At the end of each consultation, he provides a summary of recommendations on colorful floor plan sketches with a clear list of priorities that can easily be implemented within their budget.
