About the event
Workshop: Align with Your Values Setting Intentions
This workshop offers guidance to connect with your true self and cultivate a deeper understanding of who you are. It invites participants to release limiting thoughts, open to personal growth, and deepen their spiritual connection.
During this Yoga Nidra and Reiki session, participants will lie down in Shavasana and be guided through stages of deep rejuvenation. While in a deeply relaxed state, visualization exercises will help plant the seeds of intention to align with your higher values. As the practice deepens, the brain transitions to the theta wave state, an altered state of consciousness and gateway to the subconscious mind. Moving further into the delta state supports physiological healing and restoration.
Kerry will also offer short personal Reiki treatments during the session to assist in releasing energetic blocks or suppressed emotions.
Please note: This workshop does not include yoga asanas; participants simply need to get comfortable and follow Kerry’s voice as she guides them through Yoga Nidra, inducing total calm in mind and body. Thirty minutes of Yoga Nidra is said to be equivalent to 2–4 hours of restorative sleep.
Common Benefits of Yoga Nidra:
Calmer nervous system
Release of negative thought patterns
Support for insomnia, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and chronic pain
Reiki is a spiritually guided life energy (Ki or Chi) that harmonizes physical, mental, and emotional imbalances. Through gentle, non-invasive hand placements (light touch or above the body), Reiki can support physical pain relief, emotional stress, trauma, grief, anxiety, and more.
