We are honored to invite you to celebrate Losar, the Tibetan New Year, at the Jacques Marchais Museum of Tibetan Art.
This special gathering marks the arrival of the Year of the Fire Horse and will feature a traditional Tibetan New Year blessing led by Geshe La Ngawang Thugje, a senior Tibetan Buddhist monk and scholar.
The program will include:
A traditional Tibetan New Year blessing
Reflections on the significance of the Year of the Fire Horse
An opportunity for guests to personalize a Tibetan prayer flag with intentions for the coming year
