Museum Admission

Set on a wooded hillside on Staten Island, the Jacques Marchais Museum of Tibetan Art houses the first collection of Himalayan art in the country, gathered within the first example of Himalayan-style architecture in the Hemisphere.

General admission includes access to the galleries and the terraced gardens, where you can take in the collection of sculpture, ritual objects, paintings, and textiles at your own pace.

Come to look closely, sit a while in the gardens, and find a quiet kind of distance from the city without ever leaving it. We recommend purchasing tickets in advance; same-day admission is available at the door based on availability.
