About the event
"The way is not in the sky. The way is in the heart." — Buddha
On this Earth Day, let us reflect on the wisdom of these words. The path to harmony is not found in distant heavens, but within us through the love, care, and intention we bring to the world around us. The Earth is not separate from us; it is an extension of our hearts, a living reflection of our choices. When we nurture the land, we nurture our own spirits. When we give to the Earth, it gives back in abundance.
Join us at the Jacques Marchais Museum of Tibetan Art on Saturday, April 26 th, for a day of renewal, connection, and gratitude—a heartfelt celebration of our planet and the people who nurture it. Through mindful action and shared intention, we honor the Earth not only as our home but as a living, breathing presence that sustains us all.

Morning Cleanup: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM (RSVP Required)
Begin the day with purpose as we come together to restore and rejuvenate the Samadhi Garden and Pond. This is a time to connect with nature, care for the land, and cultivate a sense of community through hands-on environmental stewardship.
You’re welcome to bring your own gardening tools—gloves, trowels, or any essentials you prefer—as we clear, tend, and nurture this sacred space.
Lunch Break: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
Pause to rest, reflect, and recharge amidst the beauty of the garden. Please bring your own lunch and enjoy a peaceful meal surrounded by the tranquil energy of nature.
Afternoon Planting: 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Embrace the spirit of growth and renewal by planting new life in the garden. This is an opportunity to deepen your bond with the Earth—whether through planting flowers, herbs, or trees, each addition is a gift to the land.
Feel free to bring your own seeds to contribute to the beauty and diversity of the space.

Sound Healing Meditation: 3:00 PM (Free for Volunteers)
To honor your efforts and generosity, we invite you to a deeply restorative sound healing meditation. Let the reverberations of the Tibetan gong wash over you, grounding your spirit, soothing your mind, and connecting you to the heartbeat of the Earth.
This Earth Day, let us walk the way of the heart—caring for the land, nurturing life, and receiving the profound wisdom the Earth so freely offers.
