Calm and Creative Camp at the Jacques Marchais Museum of Tibetan Art
Looking for an engaging program for you and your child this July?
The Tibetan Museum is offering an interactive program for a team of a parent and a child (ages 6-11) on three consecutive
Thursday mornings-July 10, July 17, and 24 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the museum.
Each day parents will participate in an adult workshop teaching breathing techniques for calm and stress reduction while the children are engaged in a yoga class. Then the classes will switch. Parents will take yoga and children will learn breathing techniques for calm and stress reduction.
For the last session of each day, parents and children will come together for a different hands-on cultural art project each week.
The cost of the program for a child and parent team is $175. Parents may choose to bring snacks and a beverage and enjoy the museum’s gardens at the end of each day’s classes. (The program is limited to a maximum of 23 parents with one child per parent.
A minimum of 19 parents with one child per parent is required for the program to be offered.
