About the event
Release & Restore: A Yoga Nidra Workshop for Anxiety Relief
Step into a space of deep rest and inner calm in this soothing Yoga Nidra workshop designed to support those navigating anxiety and overwhelm. Known as “yogic sleep,” Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation practice that gently leads the body into deep relaxation while keeping the mind conscious and aware.
In this session, we’ll explore grounding breathwork, calming body awareness, and healing visualizations to help release anxious tension stored in the nervous system. Whether you struggle with persistent anxiety, occasional stress, or simply crave a sense of inner ease, this practice offers a powerful way to reset your body’s stress response and reconnect with a sense of safety and peace.
No experience is needed. This workshop is open to all and especially welcoming to those seeking a non-judgmental space for healing and rest.
During this practice Kerry will also offer short personal energy healing Reiki treatments to each practitioner to assist in releasing any energetic blocks or suppressed emotions.
Please note: there is no yoga asana; all that is needed is for the practitioner to get comfy and listen to the sound of Kerry's voice guiding them the through various stages of Yoga Nidra which induce total calm within the mind and body. It is said that 30 minutes of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to 2-4 hours of sleep in the body.
