About the event
What is Macramé?
Macramé is the art of decorative knot tying. It is is a technique or method of crafting a textile that uses several knots to form the basic shape and function of the piece. Each knot can be created with your hands, and there are no other tools required other than a mounting ring to keep the item in place while you work.
We will begin the class with a breathwork exercise to reset the nervous system and tap into your creatice energy. Then, the instructor, Jeans, will teach you three essential knots used in most macrame projects. Together we will craft keychains for you to take home. All supplies will be provided.
