About the event

In this meditation practice Tibetan singing bowls, gongs and bells guide the listener through the practice which incorporates tactile physical vibrations and frequencies in the healing process.

Science is still catching up to understanding how sound heals, but the current research is promising. A revies of 400 published scientific articles on music as medicine found strong evidence that music has mental and physical health benefits in improving mood and reducing stress. In fact, rhythm in particular (over melody) can provide physical pain relief.  (Psychology Today: 07.15.19) One study linked singing bowl therapy to improvements in mood and suggested that this approach may be a way to help reduce symptoms of depression.

Stimulating the immune system: Some also claim that Tibetan singing bowls can stimulate the immune system and produce beneficial changes in brain waves.

Leslee often recommends that listeners lie down during the class, so bring a mat if you have one. But attendees are welcome to remain seated - the posture is a matter of personal choice.

We have limited space- if you register online we can guarantee your place at the event.
