Sunday Afternoon Film Series
To support the Museum’s mission of presenting the art and culture of Tibet, the Museum screens films that examine Tibetan, Nepalese, and Bhutanese culture. Most films are held on Sundays at 2:30 PM. New additions to the Museum’s film collection are White Sun, Nurturing Compassion, and The Other Final.

Genghis Blues: – This fascinating documentary traces the unique journey of blind blues musician Paul Pena to rehabilitate his creative passions through the Tuvan art of throat singing. He is eventually invited to visit Tuva, a republic of the Russian Federation, to sing in the triennial throat singing festival. The entire journey, as well as the music, is captured in this mesmerizing documentary.
