Special Yoga Class with Melissa Ruiz @ Tibetan Museum

Melissa Ruiz is inspired by health and wellness. She grew up playing sports and was formerly a WNBA cheerleader. She studied yoga under the guidance of Marina De Lima and Anayra Calderon, graduating from Yoga In the World RYS. Her training is Hatha, Ashtanga and Vinyasa based. Melissa is an athletic enthusiast so expect a powerful flow with lots of core work. Melissa is obsessed with her Shiba Inu named King and in her spare time is training for the NYC marathon. She is devoted to helping her students reach their highest potential and mission is to uplift and empower all beings around her.

Please bring your own mat, towel, and blocks.

Come by the Tibetan Museum for one of a kind items, vintage jewelry, unique boutique, decorative arts, holiday items, and treasures from our travels.

All proceeds will benefit the Museum’s Programming and Building Funds.

Come Celebrate the Holidays on Lighthouse Hill, (the Himalayas of Staten Island). View the exhibition, enjoy light fare, snacks, drinks, and raffles. Ugly Sweater Contest and perhaps a Yeti sighting.

Tickets Are $25 and all proceeds go to benefit the Museum.
