Tulku JamyangWe hope you will join us on Saturday, April 11th at 2:00 PM for a presentation by Tulku Jamyang.

Tulku Jamyang was born in the Himalayan region in 1977 to a Buddhist family. At the age of two, he was recognized as a reincarnated lama by Venerable Diphuk Rinpoche and further confirmed by the great Tibetan masters, His Holiness Dalai Lama, His Holiness Penor Rinpoche and His Holiness Aachub Rinopoche.

Tulku Jamyang spent many years in India studying the philosophy of Buddhism and later he went to Tibet to receive advanced courses in meditation. Since his return from Tibet, he continued with short retreats and meditation in India and Nepal .

In addition to his training as a monk, Tulku Jamyang is also a very accomplished Contemporary Artist. Currently his art work is featured in the ‘Transcending Tibet’ exhibition at the Rouge Space Gallery in Chelsea. He will speak with us about art, compassion, and Buddhist philosophy. Please join us for this wonderful event. Suggested donation $10.

Thank you and we look forward to seeing you at the Museum.
Sincerely,
