Directions
Via Public Transportation
From Manhattan
Take the Staten Island Ferry from lower Manhattan. From the Staten Island Terminal take the S74 bus and get off at Lighthouse Avenue. Walk up the hill (5–10 minutes) to the Museum. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes, and the bus meets every ferry.
By Bus From Brooklyn
S79 at 4th Avenue and 86th Street to Clove Road/Targee Street. Walk on block to Richmond Road, and then transfer to the S74. Take the S74 to Lighthouse Avenue and walk up the hill to the Museum.
From the Verrazano Bridge
Take the Staten Island Expressway (278W) to Clove Road/Richmond Road Exit. At the second traffic light, make a left turn on to Richmond Road. Stay on Richmond Road until you come to Lighthouse Avenue. Make a right on to Lighthouse Avenue. At the stop sign make a right turn—you are still traveling on Lighthouse Avenue. The Museum is about 1/4 mile up on the right.
From the Outerbridge Crossing
Take the Korean War Veteran's Parkway to Richmond Avenue North exit. Make a right turn on to Arthur Kill Road. Make a right turn on to Richmond Road. Make a left turn on to Lighthouse Avenue. At the stop sign make a right turn—you are still traveling on Lighthouse Avenue. The Museum is about 1/4 mile up on the right.
From the Goethals Bridge
Take the Staten Island Expressway (278E) to the Bradley Avenue exit. Stay on the service road to the second traffic light which is Manor Road. Make a right turn on to Manor Road. Stay on Manor Road until you get to Rockland Avenue. Make a left turn on Rockland Avenue. At the traffic light, make a slight right on to Richmond Road. Stay on Richmond Road for about 1/2 mile. Make a right turn on to Lighthouse Avenue. At the Stop sign, make a right turn. The Museum is # 338 on the right side of the road.
