The Museum is located at 338 Lighthouse Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10306. The Museum’s hours are Wednesday through Sunday from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM. Admission is $6 Adults, $4 Students and Seniors.
You can get to the museum from Manhattan by driving or public transportation. We have included directions below via bus, train, Staten Island ferry, Verrazano bridge and Outerbridge Crossing.

The Museum is located in a residential neighborhood. Free, on-street parking is available in front of the Museum on Lighthouse Avenue on a very limited basis. If you are driving to the museum and want to be guaranteed a parking space, we recommend that you park at the bottom of Lighthouse Avenue (aka. Lighthouse Hill) and walk to the museum. Lighthouse Avenue has a steep incline, so if you are not in relatively good physical condition, please drive up the hill to the museum.
FROM THE STATEN ISLAND FERRY
Take the S74 bus from the terminal to Lighthouse Avenue and walk up the hill. The bus meets every ferry. Taxi service is available from the Staten Island Ferry and the fares range between $16 - $20. Please note, the ferry ride takes approximately 25 minutes and the bus ride to the ferry takes between 35 - 45 minutes depending on traffic.
THE VERRAZANO NARROWS BRIDGE
Take the Staten Island Expressway to Exit 13B Richmond Road/Targee Street exit. Take that exit and proceed to the second traffic light and turn left on Richmond Road. Stay on Richmond Road for about 4 miles. Make a right on turn on Lighthouse Avenue. Bear right at the stop sign and continue up Lighthouse Avenue for 1/4 mile. The Museum will be on the right side of the road.
FROM THE OUTERBRIDGE CROSSING
Take the Korean War Veterans Parkway to the Richmond Avenue North exit. Turn right on to Arthur Kill Road. Stay on Arthur Kill Road and then make a right turn on to Richmond Road. Turn left on Lighthouse Avenue. Bear right at the stop sign and continue up Lighthouse Avenue for 1/4 mile. The Museum will be on the right side of the road.
